Complete guide: Business Days
Updated:
Business days = included calendar days − weekly days off − holidays not already on days off. Include or exclude each endpoint and use Monday–Friday, Monday–Saturday or no weekly days off. Overlapping holidays are never deducted twice.
The national reference uses date-holidays 3.37.0, a community compilation with year-specific rules, not a live official query. Only public entries are used, including substitute dates where represented. All fifteen directory countries are offered from 2000 to 2035; intervals are limited to five years. The table shows actual dates used, not regional, municipal or employer holidays.
Add local closures and remove inapplicable dates with comma-separated ISO dates. Removal takes precedence if a date is on both lists. US entries represent the federal calendar, not a requirement for every employer; other countries may vary by sector too. Verify official calendars and deadline rules: extraordinary decrees or later changes may be missing.

Frequently asked questions
Is this valid for legal deadlines?
It does not determine legal deadlines. Rules may exclude special days or use a different convention for starting or ending a deadline.
Are regional holidays included?
Not automatically. Add applicable regional or employer dates and remove those that do not apply.
Does a shared link preserve my dates?
Yes. It keeps entered dates, times and options, including the reference date; they are not replaced with the day a recipient opens the link. Sharing a birth date reveals that information to the recipient.
